In it, faith and church-based community projects across the UK describe – in their own words and accompanied by images – what they think makes a good society.
As well as informing new audiences about the key role that faith plays in community-building, the report aims to contribute to the wider debate concerning the role of the Church, and faith more generally, in seeking the common good.
Thousands of copies will be going out to community centres, projects, churches, schools, think tanks, and MPs’ offices over the coming weeks.
We will also be producing a toolkit for anyone who wants to start their own conversation about what makes a good society.
A former trade unionist, Rev Chris Hudson is working alongside Niall McNally, an organiser with Siptu (Services, Industry, Professional and Technical Union) Northern Ireland.
